Work at Pointe-à-Carcy has started in March 2007. The project's main elements are the renovation of a 3500-seat outdoor performance venue, development of the urban park and refurbishing the heritage Customs Building. Restoration will end in December 2007. Heritage interpretation components will then be put in place.

The three sites will be officially opened in the summer of 2008.
